Our Belgian Linen Standard Pillowcase is woven in Belgium from European flax, then hand cut and sewn to order in our Whakatāne workshop, where George Street Linen began. Each piece is made individually for your bed, with a rich, natural texture that grows softer and more beautiful with every wash. Sold individually.

Product Care

Cold gentle machine wash before first use. Wash dark colours separately. Do not bleach. Do not rub, soak or wring. Line dry in shade or tumble dry on low. Cool iron if desired. Do not dry clean.

Belgian linen or pure linen - which should I choose?

Both are made from European flax. Our Belgian linen is certified Belgian Linen™, woven in Belgium with fully traceable origins, then hand cut and sewn just for you. It's a truly special piece, made to be treasured.

Does Belgian linen get softer with washing?

Yes. Belgian linen naturally softens with every wash and use, becoming more relaxed and comfortable over time. Its beautiful, lived-in texture is part of its appeal, making it a fabric that only gets better with age.
